The short version
Open Twenty does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection of any kind. The App Store's own privacy label for Open Twenty reads "Data Not Collected," and this page describes exactly why.
What stays on your device
Open Twenty keeps a few things on your iPhone or iPad so the game remembers your progress between sessions:
- Your Shot Ladder stars, attempts, and pinned positions.
- Your shot history, used to calculate your open-20 percentage and takeout success on the Record screen.
- Your Club Night rounds, season results, and daily-board completions.
- Your app preferences: sound, music and haptics settings, board finish, and appearance.
- An optional player card: a name you type and a single portrait photo, shrunk on your device before it is stored.
All of this is stored locally using Core Data and standard iOS preference storage. None of it ever leaves your device. It is deleted automatically if you delete the app, and you can clear it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress.
Camera and photo library
If you choose to add a portrait to your player card, Open Twenty asks for either the camera or the photo library, only at that moment. The photo you take or choose is resized and kept on your device for the player card, the Club Night scoreboard, and the June Cup bracket. It is never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications
If you turn on the evening reminder, Open Twenty schedules a local notification naming the next day's board. These notifications are created and delivered entirely on your device through Apple's local notification system. No message ever passes through a server we operate.
No tracking, no third parties
Open Twenty contains no advertising network, no analytics library, and no third-party software development kit of any kind. It makes no network requests, so there is nothing to intercept and nothing to profile. The app's App Privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.
Children's privacy
Open Twenty does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date above.
